## Computer generated list of Card Swap3-operators

The standard position of the squares is
A C E G
B D F H

This is just a sample. It shows all single pair swaps and all three-card rotations, but only in one direction.
A complete list of all 770 operators in plain text form is at searchA.txt (49KB).

There are 70 sets of 4 cards. Operators on sets of 4 are shown at the right. The ones in the second row can also go in the opposite direction, bringing the total to 9. The four squares need not themselves be aligned in a square, just two in each of two rows, in any positions forming a "virtual square".

The operators in the first row are even: two pairs are swapped, and they require an even number of moves. The ones in the second row are odd, requiring an odd number of moves.

In some cases, not all nine operators are shown. In those cases, there was left-right symmetry of some operators. A left-right symmetrical version of any operator can be created by interchanging all A's with C's and B's with D's.
